The first one was exactly one month after we arrived. It was also the day we closed on our new house and Super Tuesday in the 08 election. A great day all around, and nice and warm for the parade. Last year it was bitter cold but we donned our layers and our Organic Armor and hit the street anyway. Here’s Ethan and Connor celebrating in Pritchard Park.

This year the Asheville parade will be held on Valentine’s Day. The theme is “Wild at Heart”. Hope it doesn’t snow or rain. If you are in the area, comment below if you want to join us. We’ll bring some extra armor.

Despite the weather, the room filled up.  The show opened with Vaudevie aka Valerie  from Hellblinki Sextet. Loved her version of “You are my sunshine”. She plays accordion and assorted homemade devices. Then Jason came on with some  old and some new stuff, took us on a trip through the 80s (including “Billie Jean”), and finished up with a “The glass is full, drink up drink up” love fest. Much warmth on a snowy night.

He posed in one of our new tophats this morning. Accordians are the perfect accessory, don’t you think?

Ashley modeled this fun hat back in August at Prepare for the Playa, a pre-Burning Man marketplace in San Francisco. We sold out of them fast, but we’ll make one to order in about 3 weeks.

One of the new line of filagree circlets. At only 49.00 you can get one for a friend too, or add on one of our new sexy chokers . We have several in stock.

This showpiece also premiered at Prepare for the Playa three months ago. Chris modeled it in the fashion show. Made completely with Paul’s new filagree technique, it is regal and will make a big impression (think Mardi Gras…).
