We posted a teaser about a circlet giveaway on Facebook last week – asking people to subscribe to our mailing list to find out about it. Wow! Judging from the growth of our list, you guys really like giveaways.

After years of being asked “Can you teach me how to make cool stuff like that?”, we are finally going to say yes!
We are putting together an instructional video to show creative DIYers, like many of you dear people, how to use the Organic Armor techniques and materials.
We are hoping to launch it in September, maybe at DragonCon if all goes well. We will probably run a Kickstarter campaign in July to help us fund the production. You’ll hear more about that in a few months.
Meanwhile, we could use your input.
We have created a brief survey with questions about format, subject matter etc, to help us design a really useful tutorial that fits the need.
To encourage lots of people to take the survey we are giving away one of our filigree circlets.
The style is similar to the one that many of our mermen friends have purchased, like Merman Christian to the left. The giveaway is silver with two swoops that can go up or down and a very sparkly pink crystal in the center. It can be worn on the forehead or as a choker.
Everyone who completes a survey by midnight on April 7th will be entered into the contest. The winner will be notified on April 8th.
We are very excited about this new project. We’ve realized that we will never be able to explore all the possibilities of this unique method and fabrication material. It’s too versatile and well suited to all kinds of costuming to keep to ourselves.
